A Little About Your Electricians
Kitchen Electric is a full service electrical contractor ran by the Kitchen family in Washougal, Washington.
Paul and Sara Kitchen started Kitchen Electric in 2008, a few years after Paul successfully completed the IBEW Local 48/NECA five year apprenticeship program and was licensed to perform residential, commercial, and industrial electrical work.
Sara left her career with a local credit union and became the helpful voice answering the phone, ensuring permits and inspections are coordinated, scheduling projects, and ordering materials.
With Paul handling estimates and installations while Sara managed the office, their reputation for craftsmanship and service soon spread throughout Clark County and Skamania County. In spite of a difficult economy the business grew and by 2012 they employed two additional journeyman electricians and leased a shop at 1324 E Street in Washougal.
In 2017, Paul and Sara had the opportunity to purchase the old Radio Shack building located at 1315 E Street in Washougal and now have a staff of ten employees. They hope to grow with the needs of the local community and serve them for generations to come.
Their steadfast commitment to quality has allowed them to grow without compromising on service.
Kitchen Electric really is Washougal’s electrician. Both Paul and Sara graduated from Washougal High School, and not only is their business in the city, but they live here with their two children as well.
